Founded in Lachine in 2003, Dr. Mathieu Lenis\u2019 clinic\u2014a specialist in oral and maxillofacial surgery in Montr\u00e9al\u2014offers the Greater Montr\u00e9al population high-quality specialized care, grounded in clinical excellence, rigor, and respect for the patient. In 2018, he opened a second clinic, this one in Ville Sainte-Catherine, on Montr\u00e9al\u2019s South Shore. <\/p>\n

Hospital, academic, and professional involvement<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dr. Lenis has recognized expertise in oral and maxillofacial surgery, as evidenced by the many professional distinctions and positions of trust he has held throughout his career. In addition to running two private clinics, from 2006 to 2023 he served as Head of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at the St. Mary\u2019s Hospital Centre in Montr\u00e9al and at Anna-Laberge Hospital in Ch\u00e2teauguay. <\/p>\n

Over the years, Dr. Lenis has actively contributed to training and advancing his specialty. He notably served as a clinical instructor in surgery and as a clinician in the pathology laboratory at Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al. He is currently a guest lecturer in undergraduate anatomy. <\/p>\n

Alongside his clinical practice, he has remained actively involved in his profession. Since 2002, he has been an examiner in oral and maxillofacial surgery for the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Qu\u00e9bec Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Specialists since 2005, and was its president from 2019 to 2024. <\/p>\n

Since 2024, he has served on the Executive Committee of the Canadian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Specialists<\/a>, of which he will become president in spring 2026. <\/p>\n<\/div> <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\n\n\n

Dr. Lenis has recognized expertise, as evidenced by the many distinctions and repeated appointments he has received throughout his career. In addition to his clinical and academic activities, he holds several professional roles. Since 2002, he has been an examiner for his specialty at the Royal College of Dental Surgery of Canada.
