Oral and maxillofacial surgeon
Dr. Mathieu Lenis obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine in 1994 at the Université de Montréal. The following year, he completed a multidisciplinary residency at the Peninsula General Hospital in New York. In June 2000, he completed the oral and maxillofacial surgery specialization at Université Laval.
Dr. Lenis is currently Head of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at both St. Mary’s Hospital in Montreal and Anna-Laberge Hospital in Châteauguay. He has taught at the Surgery and Pathology clinic and been guest lecturer in anatomy for the Université de Montréal. Since 2002, he has acted as Examiner for his specialty at the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. Since 2005, he has sat on the Executive Council of the Quebec Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Dr Lenis practices in a private office on the West Island in Montreal, in Lachine and in Candiac on the South Shore. His practice spans all areas of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including dentoalveolar and orthognathic surgery, and dental implants.
